BIOGRAPHY
ALESSANA is a true artist. The singer, writer, painter, filmmaker and streetcasting director from West London draws inspiration from her own experiences and stories of her community. Her directorial debut music video, 'Ragdoll of Portobello Road' was recently nominated at the Portobello Film Festival.
With raw storytelling at the heart of each show, Alessana and her band play an energetic fusion of indie, soul and reggae; an authentic tapestry of London life.
Alessana will be showcasing her music and art at the Troubadour on Thursday 7th March 2024 with the launch of the debut EP 'Chapter 1'. Alessana and her band will be supported by the popular Troubadour house band ‘Six Foot Spoons’. Band member and little brother ‘DJ Journeaux’ will also be on the decks keeping the party going til the early hours. It’s set to be a night to remember. Get your ticket here.
